Scene 03 / Featured frame
During a daytime shoot at Canberra’s Arboretum, we experimented with different poses and perspectives, looking for a way to capture the rider’s character in a more unconventional way. That’s when the idea struck: get as low as possible and completely change the perspective. I lay flat on the asphalt and captured the shot, working quickly between passing cars. The result is a raw, bold image that captures the rider’s presence against the deep blue sky. Sometimes, getting the shot means trusting your instincts, taking risks, and being willing to see things differently.

Driven by cinema and storytelling, I photograph the pulse of a moment, capturing how it felt rather than just how it looked. Woven with texture, grain, and atmosphere, I translate raw emotion into stills that belong on the silver screen. I don’t merely document an event; I immortalize its essence and soul long after the room goes quiet.
